I always have soft spot for Wrath (Madness in this sub for some reason) Blood if you ask me which blood archetype is my favourite, and these new cards from Ryoga are pretty cool.

Demon Conductor is easily the most important piece here. With how easily Ryoga's deck run out of hand, it provides a necessary persistent draw power. In a way, it replaces a 3rd of Urias's role in the mobile game right now and seeing Urias is rotating from Rotation format in the next expansion, I can't wait to see this card in particular entering the mobile game.

Howling Demon is simply a badass finisher, much like any big number finishers are. it's an interesting parallel to Luca's Dark Emperor actually. Whereas Luca's ace needs Vengeance and is more defensive in nature being able to destroy 2 followers at once and being hard to destroy himself, Ryoga's ace is the more offensive card: needs Wrath and simply goes all in for big face damage. both even has auto-evolve when their requirement is met, further putting their parallel closer to each other.

we are FINALLY getting our long overdue Ren battle. time to see how many tokusatsu references there will be in her deck.

I forgot to add that Dark Emperor is actually tweaked in the mobile game to also be possible to activate its effect with Wrath, so the parallel between it and Howling Demon is ever so closer if we take mobile game version of Dark Emperor into the comparison instead.

considering the recently newly added Wrath support also allows Vengeance status for its activation (look up "Vania, Crimson Majesty"), I can see Howling Demon being tweaked to also allow Vengeance for its requirement when it gets added to the mobile game.

for some reason its madness instead of Wrath, Ryoga has some interesting cards for Wrath huh... Urias likes that

since you brought up Urias, Demon Conductor is essentially a replacement for Urias's draw 1 more effect. with some of Ryoga's cards also having discard effect, it's going to be the main carry of the deck much like Urias is for Wrath Blood in the mobile game right now

the main reason to play Urias - the 0 damage to your leader during your turn - is probably not getting replacement sadly, but the Demon Beater I guess is their way to give Ryoga a way to safely gain back life after hitting himself a bunch.
